Located on the southern outskirts of Norwich, Trowse station was closed
at the outbreak of World War II.
In 1986 it was brought back into service on a few weekends while track remodelling
took place at Norwich in preparation for electrification. Buses ferried
passengers between here and Norwich station forecourt.
On March 29 1986 47570 arrived at Trowse with the 1030 Liverpool Street
to Yarmouth. To the left is a Metro-Cammell 101 dmu.
