Because of engineering work, the line between Brandon and Ely was
closed from September 22 to 30 2007.
Trains from Norwich terminated at Brandon, from where buses ran
west.
Here Anglia-liveried one unit
no. 170272 crosses from the up to the down line at Brandon on September
30 prior to working a shuttle back to Norwich. Brandon signal box
had recently been repainted in ‘fifties’ green and cream.
